Liraglutide (CAS 204656-20-2) is a 31-amino acid GLP-1 receptor agonist peptide with a C16 fatty acid (palmitic acid) linked to Lys26 via a glutamic acid-mini-PEG linker. It belongs to the fatty acid-acylated GLP-1 analogue chemical class. The sequence is His-Aib-Glu-Gly-Thr-Phe-Thr-Ser-Asp-Val-Ser-Ser-Tyr-Leu-Glu-Gly-Gln-Ala-Ala-Lys(N-ε-palmitoyl-γGlu-OEG)-Glu-Phe-Ile-Ala-Trp-Leu-Val-Arg-Gly-Arg-OH.
