Fmoc-L-Aph(tBu,Cbm)-OH (CAS 1998216-17-3) is the L-enantiomer equivalent of Fmoc-D-Aph(tBu,Cbm)-OH. It is also known as Nα-Fmoc-L-4-aminophenylalanine (N-tBu-carbamoyl), a specialty protected L-configuration aminophenyl alanine Fmoc building block. This compound is a Fmoc-protected L-aminophenyl alanine carbamate that is used in peptide synthesis applications that need L-Aph residues with a protected para-amino functionality. The tBu-carbamate (Cbm) protects the para-aminophenyl group. GnRH antagonist analogues and peptide hormone mimetics have L-Aph(tBu,Cbm) residues.
